Georg Jensen sterling silver flatware set in the highly desirable acadia blok pattern consisting of eight each: dinner fork 7 and 1/4 inches, dinner knife 9 inches, salad fork 6 and 3/4 inches, oval soup / dessert spoon 6 and 3/4 inches, teaspoon 6 inches, butter spreader 5 and 3/4 inches & the following serving pieces : 1 two-tine cold-cut serving fork and 1/2 inches, 1 serving spoon 8.625 inches, 1 gravy ladle 7 inches, 1 jam or sugar spoon 5 and 1/4 inches, 1 hollow handle steel-bladed cake knife 10 inches, and 1 two-piece salad serving set (the fork and spoon each: 7.6 inches). There is a total of 55 pieces in the service.
About Just Andersen designer of Blok Pattern: In 1934 he designed Blok flatware for Jensen. In 1935, his marriage to Alba was dissolved and in 1938 he remarried, this time to an interior decorator named Esther Nielsine Jakobine Petersen.
