Dominick & Haff and Mauser 1903 Pair of Sterling Silver Candlesticks in Art Nouveau Style

Pair of Dominick & Haff / Mauser sterling silver candlesticks from 1903 in exquisite Art Nouveau style with raised natural motifs, measuring   10 1/4” in height by 4 1/2” in diameter at the base, and bearing hallmarks and monograms as shown. Dominick & Haff was an American silver manufacturer based in New York City. It was co-founded by Henry Blanchard Dominick and Leroy B. Haff in 1872, incorporated in 1889, and it was sold to Reed & Barton in 1928. The firm designed pots, mugs, centerpieces, spoons, tea sets and kettles. Examples can be seen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, Cooper Hewitt, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum.  Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions, and please see our other listings. We hand polish all items before shipping them out, but if there is interest for a professional polishing and/or engraving removal, we can take care of that for an additional charge and with delayed shipping.

Danish Glass and Sterling Silver Cocktail Shaker Set

A beautiful cocktail set made of crystal with a slight blue hue and sterling silver handles and lids. Set comprises of a cocktail shaker 9 3/4 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at top, with an enamoring grape and leaf finial atop. Olive container designed with grape and leaf finial atop, waved edge lid, grape handles, and measuring 5 1/2 inches tall and 5 inches from handle to handle. Long sterling silver mixing ladle measures 12 1/3 inches long. Bearing hallmarks as shown in images, lade with Sterling Bigelow Kennard & Co,set with DGH for Dansk Guldsmede Handvaerk.
