These impressive Bert Gordon, Birmingham, 1952, sterling silver candlesticks, designed in the Neoclassical style, are presented in columnar form, with stepped bases, continuous swag around the bases, and Ouroboros decoration. The pilaster standards support an urn-shaped finial, decorated with figures of angels with bead trim. Height 12 1/4 in. Set of four Tiffany & Co. solid sterling silver candlesticks. Each on a domed scalloped circular base, rising to a knopped baluster stem, with an urn-form socket, marked under base “Reproduction Original Portuguese 17th Century, Original in the Metropolitan Museum of Art”, total weight approximately 66 ozs troy.
