Bears the mark of Crichton Brothers, London, 1914 at the bottom of the basket and the mark of Lionel Alfred Crichton at the bottom of the sing handle as shown. The Crichton Brothers are renowned retail silversmiths and dealers who specialize in antique silver and fine-quality reproduction of silver, founded by Lionel Alfred Crichton in the 1890s.

French silver vegetable bowl and tray by distinguished silversmith Puiforcat. Marked with a diamond that has an “EP” which stands for Emile Puiforcat. Both the bowl and under tray are engraved with a 20th century art deco design and both pieces have gadroon rims. The bowl is 10 inches x 9 inches 2 inches in height. The under tray is 11 3/4 inches x 9 inches The bowl and tray together weigh 51 Oz.
