A French first standard silver pitcher by Emile Puiforcat, Paris, late 19th / early 20th century. Typical spreading baluster form, with floral sprays issuing from handle over a gadrooned base raised on a circular footed base, The ewer is very large, beautiful ornate motif, with an applied handle with figural nature motif . The bottom part of the ewer body is decorated with a nice motif. The makers mark is on the base edge. This is a very nice piece, with a gorgeous touch for home. The weight is 55 troy ounces. Measuring 14 and 1/4 inches in height and 11 inches in length.

Each baluster form with applied bands of repeat palmettes, C-scroll handles, one engraved: "Presented by the Stockholders of The Bank of Auburn to Cornelius Cuyler, Esquire, their late President, As an expression of their entire confidence in the integrity and ability with which, as an officer of the Institution, he has rendered gratuitous service during a period of more than thirty years, June 11th, 1849"; the other "The Bank of Auburn to Cornelius Cuyler, Esquire, June 11th, 1849". Height: 14 inches to the top of the handle & weighing 57 troy ounces.

Very fine heavy gage silver with fine beading around the belly of the pitcher. Bears a Victorian engraving of 1862 and bears the markings of Bigelow Bros. & Kennard, coin silver as shown. In fine used condition and measures 15 inches x 10 inches x 6 inches and weighs 51.4 oz. Makes a great bar pitcher for any occasion.

Peter & William Bateman sterling beer pitcher. This pitcher is from Circa 1812-1813, silver water pitcher gracefully shaped and beautifully proportioned with nature motif and swirling fluted bottom. Applied handle with insert insulators, handle has a makers mark. A great example of American silver with finely engraved decoration, maker marks also on the neck of the water pitcher. The body of the pitcher is covered in an engraved leaf work. very nice patina and very good condition. The weight is 34.2 t oz and measures: 9 1/4 inches h. X 9 ½

Repousse Presentation Coin Water Pitcher 1856

Repousse presentation coin water pitcher 1856 with an engraved boars head. The coin silver large floral repousse water pitcher has a shaped body decorated with scrolling foliage. The large body sits on a spreading, repousse pedestal foot with a beaded rim and has a scroll handle with an acanthus leaf thumb piece.  The body also has a Greek key motif around. The inscription on front  "Present to Martha  M. Buello  June 16 1855.  Maker unknown. Measuring 15 1/ 4 inches height. The beautiful piece adds a very elegant touch to any table. Very good condition, and nice patina.  The weight is  34 t oz.

American art deco sterling silver water pitcher, hand hammered in style of Georg Jensen. The pitcher has an elegant touch, with ebony handle, very nice patina. The maker mark is very clear at the bottom as seen in the photographs The size of the pitcher is 10 inches in height and 8 inches in width. The weight is 27 t oz. About DeMatteo: William G. DeMatteo is considered to have been one of New York's finest mid-century silversmiths. His hand wrought silver is always of fine quality. Another of his great achievements was training his son, William L DeMatteo, as a silversmith. William L. DeMatteo became the first master silversmith at Colonial Williamsburg.

This elegant pitcher, is decorated with two applied beaded bands on the shoulder and body.  The body of the water pitcher is adorned with very small leaves. The applied handle is ornate with a figural mask at the end of the handle, the top is decorated with a nature motif. Sits on a circular footed base adorned with the leaves, bringing the nature touch into your house.  Measurement 13 1/2 inches X  9 1/2 inches w.The water pitcher is in a very good condition,  maker marks are under the base.

Complimented by matching formed and stepped foot base, this pitcher is elaborately decorated with S-scroll handle with a substantial acanthus leaf thumb rest. The large spherical form body with a profusely chased repoussé decoration of flowers and leaves and a flared spout. Monogrammed on front and has a plain plate on the back for an additional monogram.Measurement 12 1/4 inches high. The weight 33 t oz.  Very good condition, and very nice patina.  Maker mark is under base. Circa 1900
